HILINES BACKGROUND

Hi-Line Industries II, Inc. is a Texas corporation formed March 1, 1954 as Hi-line Steel
Products. In 1959 the name was changed to Hi-line Industries, Inc. and in 1986 the
name was changed to Hi-Line Industries II, Inc.
Although chartered for a broad spectrum of business activity, originally Hi-Line's main
pursuit pertained to the handling of bulk materials. Inclusive with this intent was
systems composed of any and all supporting members and elements involved with
material handling systems.
For over forty five years we have maintained this objective and will continue to do so.
During our tenure of doing business we have handled bulk materials from talc to tree
length logs.
It is our intent to continue to be specialists in the bulk materials handling field. We are
dedicated to supply the best Engineering and Manufacturing to our customers. Our
goal is to produce products efficiently, proficiently and economically.
Hi-Line's current facility consist of 6,000 sq. ft. office and 90,000 sq. ft. manufacturing
plant on 10 1/2 acres of land. Note, we have a complete fabricating and machine shop
facilities.
Currently we have the capacity to produce 8 to 10 million dollars a year in sales with
60 to 80 production workers.
Although Hi-Line is capable and qualified to handle large material handling systems,
we never lose sight of the necessity to be able to supply small systems or just units of
a system to our customers.
Our engineering staff is experienced, capable and manufacture wise.
